Next meeting Monday September 8th

Hope to see everyone at the next meeting Monday Sept 8th at Creative Stamper. Bring an ATC to exchange using the magazine paper technique from August's project. The Sept meeting project is Never Dull on pages 32-33. Please try to adhere some magazine images to paper with gel medium or modge podge and dry them at home. This will give us more time to play on the project at the meeting. Bring gel medium, scissors, Elmer's Glue, Never Dull (if you all ready have some), water-soluble Oil Pastels and a blending stick (Q-tip, paper towel or your fingers!). I think at least 2 members have some Never Dull to share with everyone. Bring a plastic baggie to save it and take it home.

August 11th meeting

Here's a picture of the ATC's exchanged (sorry they are blurry--I guess I need to use the auto focus!). And pictures of the magazine paper projects we worked on at the meeting. See you all at the Crone gallery or the next meeting!

Next meeting Monday August 11th!

Hope to see you all at the next meeting August 11th. We will exchange ATC's using last month's stencil background technique.

The project for this month will be Magazine Paper & Gesso and Magazine Images pages 24-29. Please read all of the pages before the meeting and consider doing step one at home. Keep in mind that limiting paper size allows for more play time.
Supplies: magazine/catalog images-PRECUT, scissors, adhesive(gel medium, modge podge, glue, gluestick--short drying time is desirable), wet coloring mediums (inkpads, reinkers, paint), brushes, sponges, opaque pens, black markers, fine point perm markers, gesso, acrylic paint.

Hope everyone has a great time at the Stampaway convention(Sat Aug 9 at Sharonville Convention Ctr) and will bring your favorites from classes or shopping for show and tell!
